🩹 Minor Procedures
Not everything needs an emergency room.
Wound care, suturing, injections, ear syringing, and routine clinical procedures — handled in-office without the wait, the cost, or the exposure to more serious illness.
Not everything needs an emergency room. The wait, the cost, and the exposure to more seriously unwell patients can all be avoided when a minor clinical procedure can be done in the practice — properly, cleanly, and without the drama of a casualty visit.
Wound care and suturing
Cuts that need closing, wounds that need cleaning and dressing, lacerations from accidents — these can be handled at the practice for most straightforward cases. Dr. Martin will assess whether the wound needs suturing or stapling, and whether there's any risk of infection that needs treating.
Injections and infusions
Joint injections for pain relief, intramuscular antibiotic administration, B12 injections, and other clinical injections — all done at the practice. No hospital admission required.
Ear syringing
Blocked ears from wax buildup are uncomfortable and easy to fix. Ear syringing at the practice is a safe, quick procedure — far preferable to attempting it at home.
Skin lesion removal
Skin tags, cysts, small lipomas, and similar lesions that are bothersome or need assessment — Dr. Martin can remove many of these in the office under local anaesthetic, usually in a single visit.
